I find it infinitely hilarious that a company named Player First Games couldn't care any less about what the players want.

To be honest I was expecting a better experience in the game, I could spend my money to buy the characters and maybe some cosmetics, but then again what’s the point of the game if the progression without any money is slow as expensive. The game then feels tedious and repetitive. And the worst thing, I can’t think of a way to make it better the way they are selling it.

I don’t mind micro-transactions, but the grinding being so slow and tedious makes me despise them.

If I am feeling too happy and content in my life, I just play some multiversus, get lost in the bazillion currencies and grind traps, then I can get back to work cutting myself

as with everygame theirs monetization so i dont even add that as a negative cause that a given i bought the $100 version myself and played the beta alot, i do feel like it was better back then but ive put about 60 hours since release and still having a blast with it, although not another real good fighting game rn MK1 Flopped hard

I heard that apparently instead of fixing the net code, they slowed down the game and zoomed in the camera so even ignoring the monetization and modes, the gameplay is arguably a different game. In this case, can multiversus 1 be community hosted ? Perhaps. I waited for rerelease to play it but am not interested anymore. Love and blessings!

I'm really surprised that as someone who went to EVO for the MV Beta, you didn't once mention the mechanics changes in this video and it makes me really sad and disheartened that nobody in the community is complaining about the shift from Beta to Alpha's ACTUAL MECHANICS cuz with no one talking about it the MV devs will never fix it 🥺 I'm talking about the removal of Wavedashing, good Fast Fall, better fluid feeling movement, whiff cancel neutral, momentum shifts, stronger DI, longer lasting stocks, more unique combo systems that weren't just BnBs - everything I feel that actually made the game feel like the game - lilY!

This is the equivalent of Smash Ultimate only having some characters as Mii costumes. I like Mii and all, but Shantae being shelved to make room for SEVEN FIRE EMBLEM CHARACTERS is a fucking sin.

If Mai is supposed to come out around January or February 2025, they shouldn’t have placed her last in the reveal image. It really gives the impression that she’s not coming until November or December 2025.

I swear they wasted an entire year just upgrading the graphics into a new engine. Further proof that video games are not made by gamers anymore since they focused on Graphics while making everything else about the game worst than the beta.

This game deserves it's downfall honestly. How the hell does the game get worse when it was supposed to be improved? 🤦🏾‍♂️ There was absolutely NO reason to slow the gameplay, scale the characters, and zoom the camera! 👈🏾 Those 3 things are why I quit the game and will NEVER return. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Welp, it’s official. We all thought Multiversus was gonna be the big Smash Bros competitor, maybe even killer. But lo and behold, much like Nick All-Star Brawl. It’s just another rushed platform fighter with no replay value. Free to play or not, I won’t be wasting time with this.

I’ve been trying to spread on any video how money focused this game is. Its sad and disgusting. Imma continue my FREE grind since Beta. Im currently 13 bosses in on rifts. Spent my EARNED glemium on gens to level up EXTREMELY slightly. And being on the ONLY insanity level available to us now is complete BS. If i somehow ever get agent smith, i will never play this game again.

Man I still have 40 character tickets from the beta.. at this rate I’ll never get to use them.. I spent way too much on the beta because I was really excited about this game and it hasn’t paid dividends

I played in the aloha and beta, I think this game is totally cooked imo. Not only would they need to speed it up but they would also need to move the camera back again but I don’t think they will do either of those things personally

Ultimately the biggest mistake was changing the game's engine. The UE4 build just needed to be iterated upon not rebuilt from the ground up.. They're literally trying to catch up AGAIN after 1yr.

I had 130 hours in the beta and this was the first fighting game I wanted to pursue becoming a pro in, so I was more than a little disappointed in what was being offered on full release. I believe that this comes down to WB interference, because the game was not ready to be released and it's clear having to switch over to Unreal Engine 5 set the devs back in a big way. I feel like i'm playing a worse version of the beta that is now bloated with more features of which I can't even appreciate because of how much else has been taken away, and all the egregious monetization has WB shenanigans written all over it. They should have ran a one month closed beta to get feedback with the new changes, fix what needs to be fixed, and released the game at the end of the year. I love this game, and I want it to succeed, but it feels doomed right now.

We really lost Rumbleverse a game that was fun gave refunds and apologized just for this garbage of a company to keep the money they took just to release a shittier verison of the game. 😂

They took about 1 year to come back with only 3 characters and 2 stages. What an absolute joke considering they ruined the whole game due to speed, camera, 4 currencies, disconnect bugs etc

I still really think it's stupid that they have a exhaust or dodge meter. Why should I get essentially punished in a sense for whiff punishing/dodging a enemy attack and it take meter?! Mind you most of these characters (Harley, joker, shaggy) thrive with even being in exhaust mode. I just think it's really stupid

Since the posting of this video, I have put in an additional 25 hours to test netcode improvements after the most recent patch. I can confirm that I have only run into one laggy match and seems like the online is fixed. Don’t know if it’s because they patched things well or because of the game now only having 10% of its playerbase left means that there is less stress on servers, but the online works great now
